This year we introduce a new twist to this exciting program. Three teams will compete together in one jeopardy style game show. You can guess the theme (fun!) as we unwind from the day and enjoy happy hour action with our great rock star resident teams.

Each training institution will be represented by one resident who can participate. There will be mixed teams of four residents and the winning team will represent the Western Section at the AUA’s Annual Meeting Resident Bowl next year. Plan to attend and match wits with your favorite team at each of the games!

Western Section AUA Stone Extraction Challenge

During the meeting, be sure to try your hand to extract a stone burden both percutaneously and ureteroscopically in a set amount of time! Participants will be judged by overall weight and greatest amount of stone burden! Held in The ExpoLab at the Cook/Storz Booths.

GU Tumor Board  

Aug 8 Tuesday 1:30pm

The GU Tumor Board is a multidisicplinary panel discussion of challenging cases in Urologic Oncology. 
The format will involve case presentations that include multiple choice questions at various decision points in the evaluation and treatment of these patients. An audience response system will be used to poll the audience and then the panel will discuss “best choices”. 
Program Director, Dr Joe Presti (Urology, moderator). 
This will be a valuable learning experience for our attendees.
